Unclaimed $100,000 Mass Cash Prizes & One $50,000 Powerball Prize

Mass Cash and Powerball prize winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim prizes.

Lottery prizes that expire become part of the net profit that the Lottery returns to the Commonwealth for distribution to all 351 cities and towns.

Prizes up to $103,000 can be claimed at Lottery headquarters in Dorchester or at Lottery claim centers in Braintree, Lawrence, New Bedford, West Springfield and Worcester. Regular business hours at all locations are Monday through Friday, 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (excluding state holidays).

Mass Cash drawings are conducted seven nights a week. The cost of each play is $1. Players pick five out of 35 numbers or choose Quic Pic, which randomly picks the five numbers for you. Tickets that match all five winning numbers selected in the drawing win the game’s grand prize.

Powerball drawings are conducted every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The cost of each play is $2. Players pick five out of 69 numbers and a Powerball number between 1 and 26. There is also a Quic Pic option. Tickets that match four out of five numbers plus the Powerball win a $50,000 prize.
