John Garofano of Melrose and Manjula Patel of Whitinsville are the two $1 million prize winners in the fifth and final Second Chance Drawing in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s $30 “Supreme Millions” instant game. Their winning entries were randomly selected from over 1.5 million entries submitted for this drawing.
Garofano and Patel each chose to receive their prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before tax withholdings).
To enter this Second Chance Drawing, which took place October 20, players submitted non-winning “Supreme Millions” tickets through the “MA Lottery 2nd Chance” mobile application. In addition to the two $1 million prize winners, there were 10 winners of $10,000, 100 winners of $1,000, and 1,000 winners of $100.
